Founded and developed a great company with a very Entrepreneurial culture. Had many great staff working with me over the years. At the peak, OCS was generating over $1MM in revenues with customers like Waste Management, Kraft Foods, GE, Playboy Enterprises and Nippon Express.

Promotion to Senior Manager as of April 2021. We have a great team in place with awesome support from leadership. Being able to work with such great people to evolve the IT function has been a genuine pleasure. I am grateful for the opportunity to keep contributing to a company with a strong culture and commitment to it's employees. Thanks to everyone who has been a part of the journey so far!

Key contributor / Staff Manager. DBA for large ERP build for the medical industry (dialysis provider). Worked on the corporate team to build the core methodology (New Method) for the entire consulting organization. Worked with some very large clients including Motorola and Waste Management.

Project Manager for the .NET Logistics integration Project for the SAP implementation at LTD Commodities. Developed the Vision document and worked with BA's and developers on my team to put together a solution that will integrate an existing legacy Unisys logistics systems into SAP. We are using an SOA architecture and .NET development platform loosely coupling the integration points wherever possible for re-use into the future. This type of work is important as more companies attempt to keep their differentiators in place while implementing large scale ERP systems. I am calling myself a Ninja because I am interested in shifting some of the traditional mindset to a results oriented one through tools like Social Media.

Served Kimball Hill Homes as their Director of IT. Homebuilding is not a strong technology sector, but by replacing many consultants with expert in house associates, we improved the internal departmental ranking from worst to best. The turnover rate for the department remained well below industry and national averages. During my tenure our team implemented a national Frame-Relay network and replaced that with a VOIP capable MPLS network. We also deployed a Sales Automation tool across the entire enterprise and helped the company double in size in 5 years. Other highlights include implementing a hand held construction scheduling solution across most of the company, moving to a dot-net architecture, and bringing in a revenue stream through a partnership with a major telecommunications company. My duties included representing KHH at an industry consortium, and with many outside vendors, and negotiating deals as well as managing the company technology budget.

What an experience! This Dot-Com startup made a huge gamble in providing logo promotional products that would ship within 7 days of ordering. There was a great and very creative group writing the web interfaces and my group tied those web feeds into the operational systems in something of a precursor to Web Services. I watched the company grow at a fairly uncontrolled rate for over a year before being bought out by Ha-Lo Promotional Products for a $240MM cash and stock deal. Things at Ha-Lo quickly went to pieces for a variety of reasons with the whole sad story ending in bankruptcy court with a lot of disappointed people.

Worked with Chase to provide support on the design of their Investor User Interface. Worked with BMO/Harris to support their Data Management team. Working on Team Organization, Big Data integration initiatives, and cleanup of existing processes which remained undocumented for years. Worked with SAS, Unix, Hadoop, Netezza and Datameer on a variety of solutions to support the Marketing department.
