• Teach a class of 20 students by request of professors to help students understand the readings• Facilitate class discussions every week to bridge communications between students and professors• Provide feedback for the weekly lectures to assist professors and revise the structure or contents of the lectures• Create quizzes every week to assess students’ comprehension of the lectures and the readings• Grade homework every week to evaluate students’ understanding of the course

• Tutor courses including SSC 348 Social Science Research Methods, SSC 349 Social Science Statistics, POL 352 Great Issues in Politics, and SSC 110 Introduction to Natural Science.• Help 3 students per semester identify individual challenges to help them find specific strategies of improvement• Discuss strategies with students on improving test performance by assisting them to understand the framework of the course• Explain difficult concepts and formulas in accessible terms to aid students’ comprehension• Design assignments for students to examine and assess their understanding of course materials

• Oversaw the daily function of the library four to six hours a week in the Circulation Desk and Media Center• Provided technical support for students with printer/scanner/computer questions to solve technical problems• Assisted reference librarians in providing aid in research to help students use databases to find relevant scholarly sources• Shelved and organized books/CDs/DVDS to ensure materials are in place so that users can find appropriate resources
