Job Responsibility:• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, performance standards and specifications• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team & evaluate their performance. • Follow up the project work as per design & drawing & taking necessary action for any change. • Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications• Assess potential risks, materials and costs & taking initiatives for mitigating the risks. • Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders• Handle over the resulting structures and services for use by maintaining strong working relationship with the vendors, contractors & other stakeholders. • Monitor progress and compile reports in project status• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
