* Manage all social media platforms of business. * Write daily social media posts for business and scan social media for business-specific mentions. * Coordinate and facilitate Give Back to Cape monthly events. * Work with local media to promote Give Back to Cape events. * Work with local nonprofit organizations, University-affiliated organizations, and the City of Cape Girardeau to facilitate Give Back to Cape events.

* Plan and coordinate events and special projects to attract people to downtown Cape Girardeau. * Serve as the organization’s media relations liaison * Serve as the organization’s volunteer coordinator * Work with the City of Cape Girardeau and other coordinating departments and organizations to ensure all events adhere to legal and safety guidelines. * Create engaging content to market Old Town Cape, Inc. events including blog posts and social media updates, as well as maintaining specific web pages. * Work closely with local media partners to promote upcoming organizational events. * Maintain and update detailed action plans in a database system with timelines and records of all pertinent information. * Create and monitor budgets for Old Town Cape, Inc. events * Oversee the organization’s Promotion Committee * Oversee event intern/s and assist with work study management * Build positive, non-discriminatory relationships with downtown business owners and organization partners

* Teach 15 hours per semester – primarily composition and occasionally literature and first year seminar courses * Deliver instruction in face-to-face, blended, and/or online environments * Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students * Serve on department, college, and/or university committees * Perform other duties as assigned

Teach up to 9 hours per semester — online composition, literature, and general education courses -Deliver instruction in an online-only environment
