* Employer: Wood (Formely Wood Group) * Worked for this oil & gas consultancy on a petrochemical plant expansion project during its conceptual design stages. * Travelled from London to work with clients on their plant in Wales on three occasions (totalling three weeks). * Streamlined safety meetings by scribing dialogues in them using my ability to touch-type. That made clients feel more comfortable because the meetings ran faster and with fewer interruptions. * Discovered and rectified errors on plant blueprints.

* In this summer placement, I improved pilot-scale chemical plant rigs and laboratory instruction documents by using Microsoft Word and Excel. * Worked on heat exchangers, pumps, pressurised vessels and flow meters. * Analysed experiment results and updated equipment operation documents.
