•Support, troubleshooting of all desktop in-house applications as well as across the WAN. These include Workshare Deltaview, Microsoft Office Suite, Rightfax, Adobe Acrobat, Network Scanning, Blackberry and Aderant Expert (CMSOPEN). This also includes all related equipment such as printers, copiers, Copitrak terminals, telephone handsets, network components such as switches, and structured cabling. •Physical computer setup, movement and reconfiguration as needed. •Application installation and configuration. •Hardware maintenance, including arranging to replace/repair items covered under warranty agreements with vendors. •Software maintenance including re-installation, configuration and upgrades to maintain version consistency across the Firm's PC's. •Co-ordinate with the Help/Service Desk Supervisor to resolve network management, security performance issues. •Prompt effective support for users with hardware and software problems. •Basic trouble-shooting of network issues as related to the workstations and laptops and servers. •Assisting the IT staff in a range of IT development projects •Maintain inventory lists of all IT equipment belonging to the Firm including information pertaining to warranty coverage, configuration, performance and problem history. •Manning the Firm's user help/service desk and maintaining established procedures for logging and resolving reported issues. •Helpdesk after hour coverage on a rotation schedule as prescribed by the Help/Service Desk Supervisor. •Daily rotation of back-up tapes and backup verification. •Daily completion of the Firm's help/service desk start of day checklist, reporting problems to the Help/Service Desk Supervisor.
