Working to enhance io's existing systems modelling capabilities by using a low code modelling toolset to empower everyone in the team to build models that test interdependencies and leverage emergent properties of complex systems such that they bring insight and value to our clients. Also responsible for the development of a model based systems engineering (MBSE) approach, incorporating physics models, advanced simulations and requirements management, to deliver a truly data driven execution through the project lifecycle in an open (no proprietary software) and integrated manner. In addition to these systems engineering responsibilities, I lead the incubation of new business streams at io.

Successfully led a team of experts from three companies to develop Net Zero Upstream oil & gas facilities * led two pilot projects with oil & gas operators demonstrating the value of requirements management to the digital transition * introduced decision quality and lean sigma techniques to the innovation process * and had papers accepted for multiple international conferences including ADIPEC and OTC.

Member of the Greenfield Leadership Team responsible for directing, monitoring and providing guidance on the application of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the London Greenfield business and its associated projects. Lead corporate Quality “health-check” reviews on various projects, facilitating appropriate and effective corrective action measures for key non-conforming activities and business processes. Ensuring Quality Plans, Inspection and Verification Strategies, and Assurance Strategies and Schedules are established and approved for each project within the Greenfield business.Achievements: Led Greenfield business through an internal audit conducted by the European Business Assurance team; ten best practices were identified with no formal findings. Redrafted standard project quality plan to incorporate ISO10005 requirements, best practice from multiple industries and a proactive approach to quality assurance. Responsible for a combination of strategic quality, along with health, safety and environmental (HSE) and operational delivery, with a primary focus on the Quality Management System. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), part of io’s senior management team, and expected to contribute fully to the direction and strategy of the company. As custodian of all QHSE related activity, I lead on all health and safety related initiatives. As a start-up, the role is required to work autonomously across all phases of the process for defining and creating the QMS/BMS from the discovery phase (identify and document requirements of the organisation), through define and implementation, monitoring and audit.
