Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (MFT). I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to treat trauma and other conditions. I help people get out of their own way, move past fears and trust themselves helping them identify \ their life purpose. I focus on identification of their strengths and to recognize they already possess the tools to be happier. I also help individuals heal from their past, identify patterns of behavior that are not working for them, and help them create new blueprints (behaviors) that better cope.I provide services to those coping with trauma (current and past), those coping with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, acculturation challenges, stress management and health care concerns. I have extensive experience working with teens/adults and provide workshops on Stress Management, Suicide Prevention, Grief/Loss, Work/Life Balance, Coping w/difficult People. I currently teach at CSU Dominguez Hills, LA Southwest CC and Long Beach CC, and have taught at CSU Fullerton and Long Beach and Long Beach City College covering subjects such as: Behavior Modification, Psy of Gender, Psy of Women, Psy of Stress, History of Psychology, Dev Psychology, Adult Dev and Aging, Experience in Death and Dying, Abnormal Psychology, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Group Dynamics, Effective Communication Skills, Personality Theory, Adolescence, Life Span Development, Intro to Psychology .
