In this role, I lead the AI Platforms group focused on building Hiring Marketplace products using LLM, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning models. We are responsible for the backend data (feature and fact stores), end-to-end ML and LLM infrastructure, and building new AI-based products.

I lead the Machine Learning Engineering and Data Science discipline across Indeed (~300 ML/AI practitioners). This includes building out Machine Learning and Generative AI Platforms, driving new AI product growth, making new technology choices, and helping to hire and upskill staff.

I proudly lead the Data Platforms group at Indeed. Teams in our group include Data Infrastructure, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Data Governance and Analytic Tools. We are responsible for the core underlying data infrastructure at the company, and many of the tools that sit on top. Our mission is to enable every Indeedian to be data-driven in their daily work. Our team is comprised of over 200 talented Product Managers, Data Engineers, Data Governance Analysts, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Technical Business Analysts, Program Managers, User Experience Researchers, Product Scientists and BI Analysts.

I proudly lead the Data Science organization at Indeed. Our team currently comprises 95+ Data and Product Scientists, working in six cities across North America and Asia. We work on all of Indeed's products including jobsearch, recommendations, employer insights, bid oprimization, company reviews, salary estimation, lead generation and many more. I joined Indeed to lead and grow the Data Science and Machine Learning Engineering disciplines across the company. We grew the team from 6 staff members to 90 during this time. We operated a centralized and embedded org structure. In partnership with product and engineering partners, the team delivered incremental product impact (measured by A/B tests) of over 20% each year against key business metrics such as revenue and hires.

As a member of the Ads Quality Engineering team, I have worked on a variety of projects associated with search ranking and pricing of AdWords. Project areas include the core serving/prediction models, development of user experience and advertiser metrics, experimental design and analysis for product development.During this period I initially worked as an individual contributor, and now tech lead manage a data science team responsible for the Shopping, Flights, Travel, Autos and other commercial search units.

Taught undergraduate and masters courses in Actuarial Science and Statistics.

As an actuarial trainee, I helped price life assurance, pension and general insurance products.
