Editing for academic manuscripts within the KOMPARE project (Kompetent Argumentieren mit Evidenzen. Messung und Modellierung in der Erziehungswissenschaft und Transfer aus der Medizin; Competent reasoning with evidence. Measurement and modeling in science education and transfer of medicine.) Responsibilities include proofreading, copy-editing, and substantive editing.

Universal Design of Inquiry-Based Middle and High School Science Curricula Generated a literature review of the cognitive & affective aspects of science and/or multimedia learning, and demonstrated the research’s application through volunteered project assignments and subgroup participation.

Molecular and Physiological Regulation of Choroidal Vasculature Maintained recombinant mouse colonies, administered target protein inhibitors, prepared retinal samples for various forms of microscopy analysis, and assisted in the qualitative and quantitative data analysis of choroidal vascular fenestrations. Angiogenic Mechanisms of Infantile Hemangioma Pathology Designed and constructed a recombinant protein containing an identified mutation to analyze its contributions to vascular tumor pathogenesis, and sequenced and analyzed additional candidate genes to identify further mutations.
