See below history of engineering & architectural leadership and customer+product focus that have contributed towards taking ArcSight from pre-product / pre-revenue to its $1.5 billion acquisition by HPE (HP Enterprise Security Products later spun it into Micro Focus).Engineering owner of ArcSight's flagship SIEM product (ESM). Success of the key releases I led contributed to pre and post IPO growth of company.Beyond ESM, also led conception, design, and development of a new product - ArcSight Express that became the flagship SIEM-in-a-box product for ArcSight.Took additional responsibility of TRM product team and led development of virtualized TRM appliance (Threat Response Manager) as a new product offering for cloud environments.Managed ArcSight's core Server and Database development teams. Hired 15 talented server and database developers over the period, mentored them, and also played the role of architect.Key presenter at annual ArcSight Protect Security Conferences, represented company in annual customer advisory board meetings.Became member of ArcSight CTO's Architecture council, contributing to engineering strategy, product direction, and doing technical due diligence.Filed 6 patents as an architect. Back from the field organization into Engineering, started the Fasttrack engineering team that implemented customer solutions.Next, moved to Database engineering team working on the big data storage layer of ArcSight. Next, became team leader of Server and Database engineering teams.

After developing 1.0 release (see below position), went out in the field to do POCs and deployments with the first 30 customers, contributing to early success in the market. Developed initial SIEM Rules and Security Content. Original designer and instructor of ArcSight's security certification courses.

Joined ArcSight's founding engineering team and released the 1.0 product. Developed several core enterprise security features from concept to prototype, and to key product features.

Developer in a 6-person data storage startup creating a distributed file system on Linux clusters. Developed the shell client interface and web based storage interface for Sigma File System. Presented to investors.

Member of EHPT's Architecture Core Team developing Java server framework for telecom applications.

Developed Network and IT Helpdesk Remote Desktop Management products (ZenWorks and ManageWise).

Wrote ASN1.1 encoder/decoder in TCAP protocol, for transmitting messages between switching points. Wrote Unix CLI admin utility.
