Key Responsibilities Store Execution • Manages the execution of the clearance center program and pricing in applicable stores • Ensures assigned stores are up to company standards on store appearance and functionality • Ensures company policies and state regulations are followed including, but not limited to merchandise, returns, cash handling, and deposits • Manages par stock inventory levels for assigned stores • Verifies inventory at assigned stores and assists with discrepancy resolution • Assists with new store openings, remodels, and store closings Key Responsibilities Sales Administration • Drives sales to meet or exceed budget. • Analyzes sales numbers and assists in determination of actions for improvement. • Resolves customer issues as needed • Aids in the facilitation of district meetings Key Responsibilities Partner Merchandising • Ensures that merchandise and POP is current and displayed appropriately • Executes current merchandising plan and ensure • Ensures that all point of purchase materials are current and displayed properly • Manages the movement of damaged, discontinued, obsolete, and slow moving merchandise Key Responsibilities Personnel Practices • Evaluates customer service best practices in the industry • Develops and/or trains on curriculum to certify sales team on customer service • Proposes and implements standards of customer service expectations • Develops customer service progression reports • Assists District Manager with coaching and counseling of partners • Creates area’s work schedules • Ensures new partner paperwork are properly completed and sent to corporate • Ensure porters and part-time partners’ timesheets are approved • Provides insight of store moves to the District Manager • Conducts store visits at least once a week

At Mattress Giant I was responsible for day to day operations, staff morale, meeting and exceeding sales goals, weekly and monthly meetings, promoting company Initiatives, scheduling, showing a positive front at all times, finding ways to turn opportunities into wins, recruiting, training, ongoing development of new and current staff.
