Analyze the current legal framework of Crisis Management and their anticipated trends in the Member States of the EU on different levels of administration. Assess legal mismatches/ vulnerabilities of Crisis Management in the Member States of the EU. Identify problems of EU-coherence in Crisis management. Identify gaps with regard to an “ideal” system-of-systems. Conduct literature analysis (laws, defined responsibilities). Conduct expert interviews with relevant stakeholders. Participate and contribute to evaluation/ validation workshops. Contribute to a report on the current Crisis Management framework and a report on mismatches/ vulnerabilities of the current Crisis Management framework. Support further tasks in the ACRIMAS project, assessment of the political and societal framework of Crisis Management in the Member States of the EU. Support( from the UNU-EHS side) on the organisation and conduction of the annual Young Researcher Forum that is an annual event at the Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation/Resilient Cities organized by ICLEI.

Under the guidance of the Deputy Director for Policy and Communications, and in close contact with the Coordination Officer, of the UN/UNDP Office in Brussels my major activities were: Collect and analyze the existing sources of information on the UNDP-European Commission partnership in the area of governance. This includes data collected from country offices for the annual EU-UN Partnership Report "Improving Lives", evaluations, project documents etc; Identify the key elements of the partnership between UNDP and the EC and what makes it unique; Identify a core set of results that can be considered emblematic of the partnership.

Fulfillment of the Public and Private International Law curriculum. Public International Law Contents: Definiton of International Public Law, International Organizations, Sources of International Law, Conventions and Treaties, UN Charter, Decision of the International Court of Justice, Human Right Conventions. Private International Law Contents: Definition of Private International Law, Conflict of Laws, Choice of Law Instruments, International Contracts, Refugee Status, Stateless Condition, Deportation and Extradition. Student´s supervision at the Center for Juridical Practice: Juridical assistance for Needy Communities. Partnership with the University and the Brazilian Lawyer Association (OAB/SP -Subseccao Caraguatatuba). Propose and organize themes for the workshops, organize the schedule for the meetings of the academic students with senior lawyers.
