* Neural monitoring technologist with CNIM certification * Performs intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring services to protect neural structures during brain, spine, and peripheral nerve surgery * Trained in SSEP, EMG, TCMEP, ABR, Cranial Nerve, Cauda Equina, Pedicle Screw/Nerve testing modalities * Performs Bench Checks with oscilloscope on equipment to ensure proper functioning * Chart review cases for quality assurance purposes * Familiar with XL Tech Protector and EPWorks * Works at Holmes Regional and Wuesthoff Hospital with doctors like Dr. Hynes, Dr. Datta, Dr. Supler, and Dr. Paine

Measures and accurately applies recording electrodes in a timely manner, according to the international 10-20 Electrode Placement System. -Calibrates, evaluates and adjusts equipment, optimizing recording and stimulation parameters, to acquire salient data and information. -Implements appropriate troubleshooting methods, such as adjusting stimulation to assure accurate recording of information. -During surgery, interacts with surgical team and surgeons to provide interpretive data regarding the patient’s neurological status. -Recognizes normal patterns, normal variants, and abnormal patterns; understands the medical and pharmacological/anesthetic conditions that influence all recording IOM modalities; understands the clinical correlations between abnormal evoked potentials and various disease states.
