Assess the effects of multiple tax filing scenarios, integration costs variations and capital structure alternatives.

* Provide M&A research and intelligence to hedge funds on volatile equity and credit situations. * Track deals on their corporate events, estimate timelines, daily spreads, financial valuations from rumors to post deals.

* Analyze and monitor the risk profile of transactions and strategies undertaken by the bank’s Wholesale and Global Markets division. * Calculate utilization of potential transactions and determining impact to limits. * Support Regional Head of Traded Risk Management and the team in establishing guidelines, standards and best practices for Asia Pacific Risk including Wrong-way Risk, Stress Testing, etc. * Identify key traded credit risk management issues in the region and develop specific initiatives and processes to resolve those issues. * Understand rules and regulations imposed by HKMA, Basel, and other credit risk mitigation techniques and the latest developments in the credit markets.

* Contribute to the credit selection process by covering a portfolio of regional financial institutions and corporates. * Assess credit metrics of High-yield corporate issuers including spread analysis, duration management, sector analysis, cash flow modeling and financial statement analysis. * Provide macro analysis on Asian countries including Hong Kong and China. * Identify securities that offer good relative value and recommend tactical and strategic trading ideas. * Track portfolio position and execute fixed income and currency trades. Participate in business development through handling client inquiries and presentation materials.
