Using GDPR Auditing's proprietary audit methodology, conducted gap analysis and check-and-verify audits on a range of organisations in the Pharmaceutical, Construction, Digital Media, Financial Services and Crypto Currency sectors, including audit design, on-site discovery interviews and recommendations.

Lead the implementation of “Verified by Visa” and “MasterCard SecureCode” into the WorldPay platform, the negotiation of internal and external funding for the project, commercial terms with technology providers, business case, direction to the delivery team and client roll-out strategy. Originated American Express acceptance services into WorldPay platform covering Amex globally across four regions - Europe, JAPA, LACA and US. This was a two- year project, including funding, negotiation of terms, business case, direction to delivery team and client roll-out strategy.

Responsible for all business development activities/strategic alliances for the Western Union Payment Services division for Europe, Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Western Union as a network of over 300,000 locations enabling both person to person money transfer and cash payment for bill payment, purchases over the internet and cross border payments and remittances for governments, public sector companies, private sector companies and NGOs. The Western Union network is possibly the largest global network of payment locations in place today accessing emerging markets and developed markets in nearly 200 countries.

I was responsible for a team which evangelised the proposed new Simpay payment scheme to major content providers in the mobile space. Also, I built commercial relationships with a number of European operators to add to the membership of Simpay (originally Orange, Telefonica Moviles, T-Mobile and Vodafone). Proximus and Amena joined in February 2005. On 24th June 2005, Simpay announced that following the decision of one of its founding members not to launch Simpay for the foreseeable future, the decision was made by its membership not to pursue its activity on a pan-European scale, as originally planned. Simpay's operations are being scaled back to focus on licensing its IPR to existing members, although interoperability remains a goal. The members will make known their individual plans in due course.
