Directly supervise the Machine Shop, consisting of multiple CNC vertical milling machines, horizontal CNC boring mills, CNC Press breaks, CNC lathes as well as several manual horizontal boring mill machines and Bridgeport's. Manage all aspects of production, discipline, hiring , retention, safety, 5S and lean. Responsible for quality of products produced. Skills; Team building, blueprint reading, work processing, work order problem solving and resource management. Trained in 5S and Lean by Raytheon Corporation. 16 direct reports.

Supervised all aspects of second shift operations to include Welding and fabrication, water jet department, machining and assembly / paint. Started with 22 direct reports, by 2009 had 55 direct reporting employees. Work consisted of team leading/ building, training, discipline and retention.

Obtained rank of AMH2. Was a member of HS-85 Helicopter anti submarine warfare squadron. Full airframes and hydraulics trained and certified on SH-3D Helicopters. Qualified as Plane Captain, CDI (collateral duty inspector). Trouble shot, repaired and inspected aircraft before and after flight. Became Air crew maintenance qualified. Fully qualified Landing signalman (LSE). Operated multiple ground support equipment types. Supervised the Airframes shop, led a crew and improved each year to obtain a perfect 4.0 evaluation score the last year I served. Served 2 years reserve duty working in a DC-9 Squadron after my exit from active duty

Led an AM sort area for 7 years while holding a driving courier position with floating routes. Received multiple BZ awards from local station as well as from District level for teamwork and over 10 years of safe driving. Started Fedex by working in the Oakland sort facility then moved up in a years time.
