His Start: Darrell's path to ownership was an awesome experience! Starting out in Detroit, MI out of President Dan Bazuin's office in August of 2015, he was promoted to leadership in just one week. Darrell learned discipline, integrity, and relationship building on his way to assistant manager, which he hit nine months into the business. Four months later, Darrell was promoted to ownership on DTV. His Perspective: What Darrell likes most about being in the business is the relationships he has built with people. It intrigues him how quickly strangers can become friends and lifelong business partners. He also loves the networking aspect of the business and the fact that, if you need resources, they're literally one call away.

Darrell Lyle was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where he attended Southfield High School. Darrell's family was made up of his mother and 3 brothers. Very active athletically, he played both Football and Baseball and was the team captain in both sports his senior year. He continued his education at Michigan State University where he pursued a degree in Psychology. Knowing the why behind people’s actions fascinated him.From studying Psychology, Darrell found how easily it aligned to working in sales. After working with a few positions in different sales companies, he started to work with a company headquartered in Detroit that had the exact environment he loved so much. It was high energy, team oriented, and sports minded. After starting in a basic Entry-Level sales position in 2015, he quickly moved into Managerial position and opened his own firm in October 2016. Using his team building skills learned through sports and in his last firm, Darrell holds his team to the standard he holds himself. His philosophy is to “be elite” in whatever you do, which is precisely why he chose to name his firm 78 Elite Consulting. Learning how to build and manage his own business has been life changing for Darrell.Sports laid a great foundation to build upon but business, he says has “helped me grow tremendously on a professional and personal level. It has really built my character, work ethic, and resiliency. I enjoy my opportunity for growth in all aspects and love the opportunity I can provide for others by being a business owner. I love helping people learn how to ask for sales. I love helping build confidence in others. It is truly one of my greatest passions to see people win.”Somewhat of a “serial learner” Darrell enjoys challenging himself with new hobbies; currently, his favorite is boxing. His current record is 27-7.
