Duties:- Act as primary record-keeper for AUSD CTE (Career Technical Education) grant budget.Prepare and maintain financial and budgetary data.- Assist teachers with procurement of classroom supplies, including requesting bids, determiningallowable funding, creating requisitions, and order follow up.- Maintain a high level of confidentiality while performing sensitive administrative support responsibilities for the Vice Principal and Principal.- Schedule meetings, manage appointment calendar, and handle calls for Vice Principal. - Plan and coordinate multiple long-ranging activities and events (testing, career fairs, etc.). Secure event sites, staffing, and materials. - Provide assistance and information to staff, students, parents, and community members regardingschool policies, forms, schedules, and events.- Work with student data in Aeries (Student Information System), including adjusting class schedules, verifying information, and running queries.- Schedule workshops and travel arrangements for teachers. Submit travel reimbursement paperwork and requisitions.- Train, oversee, and delegate duties to clerical staff and aides.

- Team Lead: Recruit, train, and assist supervision of new employees in all lab duties, equipment use & maintenance, lab safety, purchasing, computer programs, customer service, inventory, shipping, and receiving. - Purchasing: Collect sales data, forecast sales and supply needs, obtain quotes, and place orders for live materials and lab supplies. Establish trustworthy relationships with vendors throughout the US. Compile and analyze data regarding pricing, quality, and availability.- Warehouse: Picking and packing of live material shipments to customers all over the US. Entering outgoing shipments into shipping computer. Perform Quality Control checks for Picking and Packing. Receive incoming shipments of lab/warehouse/office supplies and live materials. - Inventory Control: Perform Inventory counts of non-live and live materials in our facility. - Continued duties in Customer Service (as listed below).

- Production: Culture and care of live organisms that are shipped to customers in the Science Education market. Prepare media and chemical solutions. Clean and maintain all labware and equipment. Occasional field collection of insects and other materials. Collect, record, and analyze data in order to improve culturing methods for our live material products. Create SOP’s for the care and culturing of live organisms.- Communication: Conduct educational outreach with the community. Initiate and foster communication and teamwork among co-workers in various facilities and departments. - Creative: Work with Sales and Marketing Teams in revision and creation of multiple customer-facing products including trade show flyers, live material care guides, and catalog and web information. Contribute illustrations, design concepts, and written text.
