The Global Inventory Control Manager for Destaco plays a key role in implementing the global supply chain strategy and driving improved supply chain performance and capability. We have global responsibility for inventory strategy and execution at all sites within Destaco, leading a team of supply chain analysts and working in partnership with Global Sourcing and Materials Managers at key production sites. The Inventory Control team is responsible for collecting and analyzing relevant internal and external data to identify opportunities for cost and working capital reductions and supply chain efficiencies to drive improvements. We support the cadence globally and maintain inventories that support sales forecasts both specific, as well as, implied by historical usage. We are the PFEP champion for each location leveraging the buying and planning teams within the plant operations teams to maintain a global master data strategy that leads to the most efficient and cost effective deployment of inventory throughout Destaco's global footprint.

Material Manager – Manage logistics, import/export and procurement of material for a fleet of 1,200 locomotives across 12 Canadian National (CN) sites, including unscheduled maintenance, derailments, FMI’s, and proactive component changeouts. Responsible for leading and managing $27 million inventory through budgeting, forecasting, and procuring locomotive material. The deployment of cycle count program, continuous improvement tools, methodologies, standards and processes across the enterprise.
