* ● Prepare drawings from engineering sketches. * ● Maintain drawing files (soft copies of drawings). * ● Improve/Develop the Computer Aided Design (CAD) system. * ● Train/assist drafting & engineering personnel on AutoCAD Electrical. * Perform drafting/engineering tasks as required. Including: * ○ Generation of Cable Summary and Cable Termination Documentation for the installation of equipment on site. * ○ Participate in the design of electrical equipment for projects. * ○ Assist in drafting standards development. * ○ Estimate/Budget hours for the completion of drafting tasks * ○ Delegate drafting tasks as required to meet deadlines * ○ Back check drafting tasks completed by others. * ○ Create 3D models of electrical enclosures for use in overall arrangements of equipment. * ○ Create Cut-out Details for enclosure manufacture. * ○ Perform mechanical modelling tasks in Inventor. * ○ Create detailed drawings of equipment using Inventor & AutoCAD. * ○ Submit drawings for Issue to internal & external clients.

My duties included creation of detailed drawings from engineering sketches for the manufacture of Electrical Equipment.

I specialise in Electrical Drafting of PLC, Power, Control, Instrumentation & Motor circuits of Electrical systems up to 11kV. I have also done master modelling of small mechanical equipment as well as detailed manufacturing drawings of mechanical and electrical equipment. I am familiar with the use of AutoCAD Electrical, Elecdes Design Suite, AutoCAD Vanilla, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access software packages.
