As CEO of BIM ENGINEERING, U.S., I implement innovative technologies that aid in sharing data and providing process improvements amongst all those responsible for the design, construction and operation of buildings and infrastructure in the built environment. I combine my construction management and technology experience to provide BIM consulting services to clients across the country—including builders, designers, and owners. My company focuses on process improvements and provides BIM services with a focus on constructability and quality—from the design development phase to ongoing facilities management. Our engineers stay current with the latest technology standards and codes to successfully utilize the full potential of BIM technology.

I joined The Williams Companies as Vice President of the Design Build Mechanical division, and was responsible for building global teams focused on BIM integration from engineering through construction, and developing and building a scalable process to improve quality and data. To accomplish this goal, I created and oversaw a team of 15 in-house employees and 25 offshore employees responsible for BIM integration, coordination and constructability review. In just 12 months, this team worked with the nation’s leading general contractors and produced over 30 mid and high rise projects accounting for over 15 million square feet.

I started at Suffolk Construction Company as a Project Manager, and was later promoted to Regional BIM Director. This role was specifically created for me, as the firm wanted to be a pioneer in the application of BIM. As Regional BIM Director, I leveraged my construction management background to support and coach project teams by developing and utilizing conceptual budget models through BIM. I also evaluated new BIM related software and technologies as clients continued to request 3D modeling, 4D scheduling, 5D estimating, and other BIM functionalities.

I started my career as an Intern at Dietze Construction Group. After graduation, I was hired as an Assistant Superintendent, and was soon promoted to Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager. In these roles, I gained both field and construction experience and oversaw the conceptual development and scheduling of various commercial construction projects—from the early planning stages through project completion.
