* Developing visual and other communications tools for all M&PA platforms to promote RFE/RL journalists, content and events. * Developing advocacy campaigns using digital media on behalf of RFE/RL journalists who face the consequences of difficult political regimes. * Curating M&PA social media accounts; producing video content and social video interviews with journalists. * Writing concise, effective materials, including journalists’ profiles, interviews, features, awards, announcements, obituaries and press releases. * Updating the Press Room website and updating layout; monitoring website analytics. * Editing RFE/RL experts’ biographies, as well as other content for M&PA team. * Assisting with visits, meetings, briefings and other promotional events at RFE/RL’s Prague headquarters; completing administrative tasks for RFE/RL senior management; co-ordinating external outreach and teambuilding events for RFE/RL colleagues in Prague.

* Attending parliament, think tank, university and stakeholder events and writing up analytical reports to share with the Political Sector; Attending pre-Council briefings in various Whitehall departments setting out the UK’s position with respect to upcoming European Council meetings. * Collecting and summarising key publications on Brexit published by a range of UK think tanks. * Contributing to the Rep’s weekly special on the General Election with analysis on prominent issues; collating cartoons for use in each edition. * Carrying out tasks for the Head of Rep, including rewriting her notes from events and providing political analysis on various issues at short notice. * Assisting the Social Media Manager in maintaining a dynamic presence on Twitter and Facebook based on the EU’s communication strategy. This involved creating infographics, promoting public events and related campaigns, and sharing photos from events.

* Attending EPC panel discussions and writing reports to share with its 350 member organisations. * Editing all publications written by EPC researchers (commentaries * policy briefs * discussion papers * issues papers * book chapters), as well as the speeches of former President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy. * Updating EPC ‘In the Press’ and EPC ‘In the Debate’ sections on the website * liaising with international journalists and EPC analysts * updating the mailing database * and creating reports on EPC’s global media outreach. * Maintaining an engaging social media presence, for example by creating a YouTube account. * Assisting in organising events (such as ‘The EU at 60,’ hosting all three EU Presidents) * live tweeting * writing up press releases.

* Co-ordinating UNRIC’s flagship event CineONU: a bi-monthly public and free of charge human rights documentary screening initiative that draws in hundreds of fans in Brussels. * Reviewing global documentaries in line with the UN’s mission; preparing pre-publicity material before screening and writing follow up press releases; liaising with partner organisations and guest speakers; managing social media. * Planning and producing content for the UNRIC website to further the UN communication strategy based around international days and campaigns. * Gathering daily headlines from UK and Ireland news to be distributed by Office of the Spokesperson for the UN-Secretary General to all UN staff.

* Managing the extranet site SEEit for the Southern European division of McDonald’s, including ten countries and over 300 clients. * Collecting and publishing best practices from the teams weekly, also shared via a newsletter.
