I am currently the HR Business Partner to the Senior Director in a complex, fast pace and multi-billion pound business. Responsible for implementing all aspects of the People Plan across a multi format region of 43 sites, I am involved in recruitment,retention, talent development, succession, engagement, ER, etc. through my dotted line relationship to 22 People Leaders and c.9k colleagues.As a key contact for the Centre of Expertise, I am also remotely involved in helping shape aspects of the People Strategy.

Leading and coaching a team of 5 Healthcare Managers across the south of the U.K. and with c.300 Opticians and Pharmacies across my Division, I had specialist responsibility for all aspects of each sites' P&L. Working closely with the Head Office team on matters of safety and compliance, we ensured that patient safety was our number one priority.

My team wrote employment policies for all areas of the Asda business including Retail, Logistics & Head Office. I worked with other Centres of Expertise & Business Partners to ensure that these policies were well trained and complied with to the highest standard. Policies included everything from Disciplinary & Grievance to those that enable the business' strategy of Health & Well-being.

Covering the Midlands region - including Ambient, Chilled & Frozen and National trunking depots (c.3500 employees). The role covered all general HR aspects, in addition to IR, union relationships, wage negotiations, training, management coaching and development.

Regional People Manager for 24 Retail stores. This role covered all aspects of the People / HR agenda for c.500 salaried managers and over 10,000 hourly paid colleagues.
