* https://github.com/googlecast/CastVideos-android * The existing app utilized an SDK that allowed a media item to be sent to a cast-enabled device. My task was to rewrite the existing app in Kotlin so that the end-user of the sample app could view or use either Java or Kotlin implementations of the sample application. The sample app is publicly available to everyone, but my version is not. * Worked in an Agile team environment using Android Studio, Google Meet for video communications, and Google Docs for project progression. * Participated in Sprints multiple times per week as part of Agile project methodology. * Worked through codelabs to see how ChromeCast was implemented in sample apps. * Created a Kotlin build variant for an existing Java-based sample ChromeCast application. * Developed the Kotlin build variant as a line-by-line conversion keeping the codebase as similar as possible to the original code base.
