My role as a Pharmacy Intern at Publix Pharmacy involves consistent progression of the skillset required to become a reliable and trustworthy Pharmacist. I involve myself in all aspects of the profession through hands on experience with the Pharmacists that I work with. Recently, my focus has been on counseling patients and answering questions pertaining to prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. I have also gained a lot of experience in immunization delivery through rotations and voluntary flu clinics.

While working at Food City, I was very involved with the building blocks to becoming a Pharmacist. Having no schooling in a Pharmacy program yet, I concentrated on learning what each medication was for and learning how to use the computer system and communicate efficiently with patients.
