My career has mainly been within the operations segment, and thus my primary skills are coordination, planning, optimisation and project management. In 2018 I left the blue world, and replaced my passion for ships with a passion for skiing, sports, communication and human interaction. I am driven by puzzles, problem-solving, beautiful phrases, excellent customer service and going the extra mile for the people around me! I am outgoing as a person, I always remain positive with a can-do attitude, a spark in my eyes and a smile on my face. Welcome to my profile!

General Manager - Implementation And Optimisation
    A.P. Moller - Maersk Jan 14 - Aug 16 · 2 yrs 7 mos
    Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark
In 2014 Maersk Line entered the world’s largest alliance (at the time) 2M with the competitor and rival MSC. I took part of the preplanning, which was an enormous amount of work. We were a small team of dedicated employees that travelled back and forth to the MSC headquarters in Geneva, to plan for, prepare and implement the world’s largest ocean network. We did the internal communication and coordination between the stakeholders impacted by the project, but also the external communication with our partner counterparts. A truly exciting time. After the 2M network was implemented, I resumed my position in Implementation and Optimisation, where I did the coordination of the various implementation initiatives between our internal stakeholders. On top of that I did the monitoring and cost optimisation of my delegated services, together with the budget planning- and follow up for same.

Manager Of Operations - Hong Kong
    Maersk Shipping Hong Kong Nov 07 - Sep 08 · 10 mos
I joined Maersk Shipping Hong Kong in the start-up phase, with many new and exciting challenges and opportunities ahead. We set up the entity from scratch, and created everything from contingency plans to KPI’s and working procedures. I had the daily contact to the Captains and the crew onboard the dedicated ships, and also spent a lot of time familiarizing myself with the local ports and authorities. I was assisting with the day-to-day government relations issues and documentations, and joined as many meetings and conferences as possible, to get acquainted with the local business life. A great expat adventure that made me grow personally and professionally in so many ways.

    Assistant Manager - Operations
    A.P. Moller - Maersk Sep 06 - Oct 07 · 1 yr 1 mo
    Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark
Fresh out of the MISE school, I joined the Maersk Line deployment team, that is responsible for the correct placement of the ships on the services around the globe. That includes a huge amount of planning, as requirements are constantly changing, while contingency plans are also constantly activated in connection with vessel breakdowns/repairs and weather changes impacting the voyages. Budget planning and follow-up was also an essential part of the position, as well as communication and stakeholder management.

    Senior Procurement Manager
    A.P. Moller - Maersk Jan 18 - Sep 18 · 8 mos
    Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark
I took up the newly started position as Category Manager for Feeders early 2018, and I mainly spent my time on defining the game plan and setting up the new processes. I had the responsibility for developing the global strategy for the category, and also the responsibility for the global cost and performance development. My focus was to drive improvements and reduce the inefficiencies across the feeder segment, at the same time as being tuned in on the market-, competitor- and supplier development. For a period of 6 months, I was part of the small Maersk Line team confidentially dedicated to prepare for the purchase of the competing shipping Line Hamburg Sud.

    Maersk Line Expert
    A.P. Moller - Maersk Aug 16 - Dec 17 · 1 yr 4 mos
    Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark
During my time in the Maersk Line Port Optimisation team, I was the Maersk Line and Network Expert in a travel team of 5 experts within different fields of terminal and vessel operations. In the team, we increased the productivity in the terminals, and reduced the vessel idle time in ports, ultimately to eliminate wasted time and optimize the turnaround. I was the project manager for various optimization projects, and I did studies on network optimization for the optimal terminal setup. The role required a lot of stakeholder management, as well as a good chunk of change management skills. When not travelling, I also spent time on arranging social company events like our yearly football tournament for 1000+ people, followed by a big party in central Copenhagen.

General Manager - Network Design And Planning
    A.P. Moller - Maersk Sep 08 - Dec 13 · 5 yrs 3 mos
    Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark
I spent more than 5 years in the Maersk Line Network Design team, as it is the beating heart of Maersk Line and an extremely interesting place to be. Through the years I have done network design of various trades ranging from Latin America to Transatlantic, Transpacific and Oceania. The success criteria of the position is to plan the lowest cost ocean transport product, while never compromising on the quality and timeliness for the customers. I was the project leader on various strategic cost-saving initiatives, and was the Maersk Line (full-time) representative and dedicated resource in a 6 months’ McKinsey study focusing on utilisation of the Maersk Line ships. As timeliness and reliability has always been a matter near to my heart, I was through all the years also the ambassador for the Maersk Line schedule reliability, and acted as the entry point for both internal and external parties.
