Supported the Robotics department in the testing and modification of circuit boards and wire schematics as well as the assembly, installation, and testing of the control box. My role was later amplified to a sustaining role to support two legacy products that needed improvements due to component supply and testing issues. In my role, I created and updated cable schematics using Altium and Vizio programs. Also created schematics for test cables not previously documented by the company. I worked closely with engineers in troubleshooting testing and repairing faulty units and test fixtures. I assembled and manufactured multiple test fixtures for a neuromonitoring unit. Performed electrical safety tests and verified the correct operation of new alternate components on various medical PM3 PCB’s. As part of a cross-functional team participated in multiple meetings for root cause analysis and hardware improvements to existing units. I helped to remove the neuromonitoring unit from the critical path and line down condition by improving the test fixtures. I provided feedback in design review meetings. I was responsible for upkeeping and maintaining an electronics lab with the responsibility of purchasing consumables needed for the operation of the Elab. Supported 6 engineers in their troubleshooting and component installation needs applying proper soldering standards.

Provided support for the Electric, Mechanical, LCM, System Integration Engineering (over 25 engineers) in reworking, testing and upbringing PCB boards. Supported various programs in testing, cable making, cable test, PCB rework, ordering parts, terminations to fans, ac inlets, bench troubleshooting, removing replacing parts form PCB boards, troubleshooting DC motors with analog and digital encoders, creating tracking spreadsheets, programing firmware, developing DNA sequencing and library preparation machines, assembling and disassembling and maintaining over 38 units and systems. Helped Illumina integrating new technologies, purchased and received components and tools for Engineers, repaired prototype pcb boards, interacted with Software, Manufacturing and Systems Integration teams as well.

Assisted in the final phase of Programmable Antenna Testing and ICD testng. Provided support to engineering taking RSSI measurements of up link and down link inside anechoic chamber. Assisted taking insertion loss measurements. Assisted in the preparations of watertight cables and set up for RF test in the RF lab. Assisted in inventory and up keeping of lab parts and equipment. Prepared all reports using spreadsheets for RSSI, Maximum Distance and Insertion Loss reports. Also prepared parts inventory reports.

Assembled and tested high-power lasers. Followed assembly procedures and quality assurance guidelines. Used gages and instruments to calibrate lasers.
