•Maintains and processes payroll; reviews timecards; organizes and submits hours and salary information to the payroll service; maintains and changes any information about employees that effect payment.•Prepares reports and performs analyses of employee payroll and benefit information as requested by senior management using HRIS system.•Safeguards the confidentiality of those served.•Oversees submission of consumer payroll; prepares quarterly Social Security form report regarding consumers and breakdown on a monthly basis.•Serves as a source of payroll tax information to support timely filing and payment of payroll tax information.•Is responsible for timely and accurate administration of all company benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, and life insurance.•Works with HR Manager to successfully coordinate annual benefits open enrollment•Is responsible for timely enrollment of new hires into benefit programs•Answers questions, researches problems and resolves problems on matters related to payroll and benefit plans.•Performs analyses and researches financial and benefit related issues as directed.•Follows all agency guidelines and department specific policies; i.e., sick time or vacation time usage and call in policies, dress codes, etc. as specified in the personnel manual and department-specific procedures.•Protects the rights and dignities of individuals with developmental disabilities and extend these rights and dignities to family members or guardians.•Upholds and complies with all safety programs and policies to maintain a safe work environment for employees, consumers, family members and visitors.•Commits to organizational quality initiatives by participating in programs that will assure quality improvements and team processes, including regular attendance at staff meetings.•Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor related to the organization’s mission, goals and operations.
