The Business Innovation Programme was a new programme designed to help build in-company innovation capability. The Program is a HETAC Level 8 award and is aimed at executives with significant management experience. It combined academic teaching with a practical in-company assignment. I was assigned to Sentrio Ltd (OnePosting) to help develop a new market entry strategy. Sentrio OnePosting is an independent hosted service that stores, distributes and manages invoices on behalf of buyers and suppliers.

* Full P&L responsibility for the Pharmacy Services and Fluid Systems business units in Ireland servicing both the Hospital and Homecare channels; * Aseptic compounding services to Hospitals, primarily Chemotherapy * Anaesthetic gases for theatre * IV fluids, IV Administration sets and Pumps * Homecare therapies including; outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT), Desferrioxamine IV infusions

* Joined J&J as a Graduate Trainee in 1996 * Promoted through several positions of increasing responsibility; * Sales Representative 1997 * 2000 * Business Development Manager 2000 -2004 * Franchise Director 2004 * 2010 * Member of J&J Medical Senior Management Board 2005 * 2010. * As Franchise Director I held consecutive responsibility for the Sales & Marketing of three Surgical Divisions in Ireland; Ethicon, DePuy and Ethicon Endo-Surgery. * Full P&L responsibility (up to €23m).

Full P&L responsibility for Baxter Ireland Pharmaceutical Business Unit, including Baxter compounding services, Baxter pharmaceuticals, pre-mixed drugs, sterile injectables, anaesthetic gases. Member of UKI Medication delivery & Pharma Leadership team.
