Responsible for design, coding, testing and delivery of Accxes print controller software. Accxes is the front-end for a suite of Xerox wide-format printers. Accxes is a GNU/Linux based controller supporting over a dozen printers/scanners. Areas of expertise include print data formats, real-time scanning/printing. Worked on GUI development (GTK+), including a scrolling real-time display of incoming scan data. Managed the Adobe PostScript/PDF integration. LSS Green Belt certified.

* Designed field engineer test program for Kodak's optical disk jukebox systems * Developed product software for Imagelink Digital Workstations, key contribution was developing a playback monitor for operators to verify images scanned correctly. Masters project at RIT was solving a flickering display issue on the low-cost monitors.

Senior software engineer responsible for many parts of the Allworx VoIP suite. I write and maintain server and phone software, mostly C/C++ for Linux and eCos. In the back office, I'm the lead DevOps engineer and CI advocate. Launching (2022) a cloud-based Allworx PBX server. A mix of porting from 32-bit eCos to 64-bit Linux and building/deploying via containers on white label cloud reseller VMs. Lead software engineer for audio subsystem on our newest linux-based VoIP phone, including codecs, mixer module, ALSA interface to our audio chip. Developed a telemetry/status plug-in module for our PBX server. Now integrated with a cloud-based monitoring backend. Allworx engineers are now able to monitor and react before user-facing failure. Developed unit test framework to repeat audio packet sequencing issues captured at customer sites. Consolidation and repeatability allowed us to solve several long-standing cross-platform audio issues without fear of breaking something. Show less
