It was expected of me to execute an unparalleled level of customer service for which the company is renowned. This involved liaising naturally with clients and being particularly attentive to their wants and needs. The clientele was diverse with regards to age, gender, religion, country of origin and language so versatility was key in order to engage with each individual appropriately. It was imperative to achieve an understanding of the products rarely seen in this industry. Training was provided to meticulously learn the ingredients and to understand the reason for their usage in specific products. This allowed me to provide quality, ethical and personal advice.It was also expected of me to actively participate in company and charity campaigns to increase public awareness of specific concerns and raise money for certain causes. Such campaigns include anti-fracking, fighting animal testing, supporting equal rights to love, and—on a local level—raising awareness for Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (a charity for those suffering mental health crises).
