As a Trauma Head & Orthopedic Consultant, I am involved in managing independently all emergency orthopedic procedures, planned routine and complex trauma surgeries, primary & revision arthroplasty procedures, basic spinal surgeries, Ilizarov surgeries, basic pediatric orthopedic procedures. I am adept with the knowledge of the newest trauma systems and it has been my genuine effort to incorporate these into my practice. I have always maintained a keen interest in clinical research and audit. My Key responsibilities include Contributing towards the improvement of the efficiency of my department , Discuss various surgical and treatment options extensively with patients and families , Conducting eight outpatient clinics per week, Six ward rounds per week including a grand round every week , Advance patient care by continuously expanding core knowledge associated with surgical and technical procedures
