It delivers a median resource fetch of ~100ms globally, outperforming providers like Google App Engine and Imgix. Enhanced web and mobile page performance by ~70% on media-heavy pages.Web Performance: Detected and resolved multiple performance bottlenecks on the site with the team, achieving an LCP of <=2.5s at P75 across the site. Implemented improved caching, utilized NextJS images, and optimized virtualization for enhanced real and perceived performance.Mobile Apps: Facilitated the mobile team in developing native Android purchasing and several on-the-go features across platforms boosting GMV. Metadata and Classification: Helped establish the foundations for Content Metadata and Classification of NFTs. This enables categorization, and tagging of all NFT content on the platform and helps power discovery on the marketplace surface.Localization: Localized the site, currently serving French, German, Japanese, and Spanish users.Design System: Created the design systems working group with engineering and design. The redesigned home page and collections page significantly improved NFT discovery and conversion funnel efficiency.3P Partnerships: Forged partnerships with Twitter, Instagram, Wallet and other marketplace teams, providing private APIs with high RPS on NFT metadata.

Google Assistant is an AI powered virtual assistant running on a billion devices powering a significant volume of queries daily. My team was responsible for one of the tentpole aspects of human-bot interaction - defining the tone, character and personality of the assistant.AI-powered Assistant: Built experiments for character representation and multi-turn content generation.Emotional Connection Experiments: Defined the technical architecture for the internal Assistant Research Platform using SpeechRecognition API and structured conversations that enabled the research organization to test Assistant-like conversations with hundreds of test participants remotely everyday. The research focused on establishing a strong, trustworthy and emotional connection with the users. Design System for Assistant: Established strong collaboration with product, design and 1P and 3P engineering to enable my team to build an Assistant design system; a responsive layout and theming infrastructure using HTML Canvas to deliver rich, immersive content across multiple surfaces. This significantly boosted customer satisfaction on all launched features.

Defined the technical direction for the Content Metadata UI Team, built the content discovery and tagging software and set up several engineering best practices - react hooks for reusability, cypress for end-to-end testing, and PostCSS for defining reusable design patterns. Spinnaker is a large OSS owned by Google and Netflix and used by several companies for their managed deliveries to the cloud. Developed a cohesive overview of multiple systems used in building and deploying Netflix’s microservices using reactjs, mobX, and web workers to ease debugging outages.

Built the learner experience pages using React/Fluxible/ES6Led engineering and design to establish Coursera's brand voice and design system. This resulted in improved consistency across the platform and eliminating fontawesome led to improved performance. Leveraged analytics to gather granular user experience metrics to identify friction and drop-off points.

Built visualization products for presenting predictive analytics data to executive customers. Polymer.js, Backbone.js, Marionette, D3.js, Handlebars, SASS, require.js, passport.js and Flightplan for deployment.

Built the Creative Suite Market place for Creative Suite Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) using HTML/CSS Backbone.
