I am a highly motivated and experienced Senior Broadcast Journalist both in the UK and abroad. I have extensive experience of working on popular focused based news items. I can identify popular issues that resonate with a broad audience and deliver them for television, radio and online. I have worked under intense pressure in live daily news environments, which include BBC Network News; Radio 5 Live; BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra.

I worked as a core member on the production team for the BBC One half hour documentary, Belly Mujinga: Searching for the Truth.

I produced all political content for the BBC's flagship daily news programme Breakfast. I took the lead for the 2015 General Elections and party conferences. I was also responsible for the bidding of key political figures and producing features that were specifically targeted for the programmes audience.

I have experience in producing lead stories and more creatively demanding VT’s. I am also confident in using Jupiter and Q-Cut for VT's. I have an array of field production experience that includes, outside broadcast from the Chelsea Flower Show; Olympic test events and countdown to the annual Christmas getaway at Terminal 5. I spent 15 months working on the entertainment desk of the programme. The role included gallery output editing the 45 minute entertainment strand to suggesting guest bids and discussion ideas. Whilst working within the team I produced interviews with a variety of 'A' list talent, like Julia Roberts; Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Minogue.

I was part of the production team for the flagship 5 Live Breakfast programme. My roles include researching guests, writing presenter cues and creating audio montages. On a studio producer shift it was my responsibility to direct presenters and studio managers during the live three hour news and sports programme.

I was part of the pioneering production team on the two hour daily news programme called ‘TX Unlimited’ on the digital black music station 1xtra. I initially was a a reporter, then progressed to Entertainment reporter and finally promoted to the main presenter. As well as studio based presenting, I also have extensive outside broadcasts experience at events that include the MOBO awards; Southport club weekenders and the Miami & Trinidad carnivals.
