* Providing administrative support to the Coventry City Council's Workforce Development team: * Scheduling corporate training across the Council. * Assisting in the development and maintenance of a bespoke database system to manage bookings and facilitating a transition to self service. * Collating and reporting on training statistics. * Liaising with external training providers to deliver courses.

* Delivering the Council's Apprenticeship Strategy including: * Preparing for the implementation of the forthcoming Apprenticeship Levy * Internal engagement to create new apprenticeship vacancies; increasing the number and scope of placements available * Providing information, advice and guidance to managers on recruitment, training programmes and embedding apprenticeships to meet skills shortages and workforce planning * Providing pastoral support, advice and guidance to a caseload of circa 50 apprentices * Coaching and mentoring apprentices * Capturing and reporting on various metrics and statistics * Partnership working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders related to apprentice recruitment, training and support * Design and delivery of bespoke training * Engaging with under-represented groups to promote diversity * Promoting and marketing the Council's Apprenticeship Scheme * Budget monitoring and forcasting
