Originating as a project within the Winchester Orchestra, our journey now finds its vibrant home in South Florida, uniting the finest orchestral talents from across the state. Our commitment is unwavering—we showcase at least one piece from a living composer at EVERY concert.In my role as Artistic Director, I engage in close collaboration with composers, breathing fresh life into existing and new works. Together, we embark on projects that seamlessly blend music, dance, theatre, film, video, and the visual arts with 20th and 21st-century classical music, delivering a concert experience that is both novel and exhilarating. Developed and initiated the formation of the Weiss Pops Orchestra, which then was renamed to the Gardens Pops Orchestra. Served as Executive Director/Artistic Director/Conductor of the professional orchestra. The Gardens Pops Orchestra served the South Florida region focusing upon movie music, classic pops repertoire, and collaborations with Broadway artists. Beginning at age 9 - Pianist/Organist/Assistant Choir Director then finally -Choir Director for various churches in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Responsible for music selection for all services in addition to rehearsing the choirs at each church which included Adult, Teen, Youth, Folk/Contemporary and Children Choirs. Facilitated the hiring of musicians for special occasions, securing section coaches as well as budgeting for the music ministry.
