Contract Position. Carried out approximately seven Final Inspections per day on mostly Commercial Properties including Hotels, Offices, Nightclubs, Shops, Bridges etc.

Analytics and reporting to Senior management. The development program at the time was 12,000 parcels of Crown land in the landbank.

Managed a team of building professionals including Architects, Draftspersons, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Civil and Structural Engineers, Traffic Engineers, Accoustic Engineers, Interior Designers, etc to prepare plans and specifications for Design and Construct Projects that included New High Schools, School Refurbishments, New Residential Towers, Multi-storey carparks, Prestige Homes, Car Yards etc. Also worked as a Site Manager on Prestige Units in Toorak, New Supported Accomodation etc.

Plan assessment and site inspections of all classes of Buildings. My patch was western CBD, North Melbourne, and West Melbourne.

Lectured in "Statutory Control of Buildings" (Assessment of Building Plans for Compliance with the Building Code of Australia). My students pass rate was 80% compared to the State average of 50%. The assessment included two three-hour exams on one day.

Worked in a team of 4 inspectors. Inspecting new work, and scaffolding and issued notices giving directions to comply with Building Act, Code and Standards on new work and established buildings.

Carried out 3500 inspections in my 12 months. E.g. Foundation, Steel, Frame, Lock-up, Pre-tile, Final/Certificate of Occupancy on Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Civic Buildings. Also handled Building Code enforcement issues.
