I spend my time thinking about consumer, marketplace, and games investing. I'm a Partner at Menlo Ventures and you can also find me on Twitter @amytongwu. I've been on both sides of the table for the past decade+. Previously, I led investments in gaming, crypto, and consumer growth at Lightspeed, including Arbitrum / Offchain Labs, Yuga Labs, Solana, Mysten Labs / Sui, Epic Games, TripleDot Studios, Faraway Games, Alchemy. I was also at FTX Ventures for 9 months and have fun stories from that time. As an operator, I was an executive at Warner Bro Discovery, as SVP and CFO of the Global Digital and Sports portfolio, a $2B+ business including Eurosport, PGA, Olympics, US Digital and TV Everywhere, Motortrend, and Scripps Lifestyle Studios. Before that, I was based in Singapore as CFO of our Asia-Pacific business, covering 30+ countries. I started my career at Insight Venture Partners.Outside of work, I climb and ski mountains.
