Organizing for America was started as a campaign to reelect President Obama in 2012. Responsibilities included: - Assembled and led a team of 12 volunteers to canvass in dorms, speak to classes and student groups, and “table” in popular areas on campus to register students to vote in Pennsylvania- Organizer during Get Out the Vote Campaign on election day 2012- Coordinated a team of 20 volunteers to canvass and phone bank to remind students where their polling place was, when election day was, and if they needed a ride to the polls Show less
