Scientist working on development of RNA-based gene therapies. At Amgen I am part of a team looking to discover mRNA modalities that can uniquely address various diseases. Levatio Therapeutics is looking to build on the recent momentum of mRNA therapies by utilizing circular RNA as the platform. Previously for post-doctoral and PhD work at UCLA, I focused on utilization of self-amplifying mRNA protected in self-assembled virus-like-particles. Cross-disciplinary approach to research has utilized concepts in physical biochemistry, virology, molecular biology, and immunology.
