I led sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, quality and production management on our flagship product, TruckWings, the world’s first active aerodynamic device for trucks. It works by automatically deploying panels to cover the tractor-trailer gap when a truck is traveling at highway speeds.TruckLabs (acquired by ConMet in Nov 2023) is a trucking technology company with a mission to transform the industry through combining a first-hand understanding of trucking with technology. I worked closely with the leaders and founders to manage our teams, from product design, development and operations to marketing. I also executed design and development tasks like creating engineering drawings, graphic assets and 3D models. I was in this role as SafeWhite grew and developed its core technology from lab bench proof-of-concept to a packaged cosmetic consumer product.My job was to make sure that our 11-person company was running as smoothly and as efficiently as it could.
