Responsible for the day to day management of the ER Advisory Service for line managers across Balfour Beatty. Worked with HR leads across the different business units to ensure proactive case management and specialist / bespoke support given where required. Reported into Head of ER and worked across a number of projects to support the HR plan and ER priorities.

I led the delivery of the national HR policy advisory service for all line managers across the UK. The service received approx 2000 calls per week from line managers across the business for support when dealing with disciplinary, absence management, grievance, misconduct, appeals, flexible working cases etc. Delivered pragmatic and accurate advice to minimise potential risk and do the right thing for the business and employee.
