This network has 10000+ nodes. -Built out Brigham City, Utah Ethernet devices spanning 1600 plus customers using Alcatel 6400 switches and Alcatel 7450 ESS platform. -Built Minerva Middleware to support new 250 channels MPEG 4 and MPEG 2 video delivery system. -Designed and implemented set top box deployment using ADB and Amino STBs. -Built and implemented OpenNMS network monitoring system. -Upgraded OpenNMS to new Zenoss network monitoring system. -Implemented BGP network for wholesale bandwidth. -Implemented new design architecture for managing devices in a segregated secure format.-Programmed backup scripts to backup all devices configuration on the network.

This network passed 100 % of all homes and businesses in the City of Provo. -Responsible for setting up multiple client sites on the metropolitan area network (MAN) -MAN included Foundry, Cisco, Enterasys, Extreme and Worldwide Packet devices, with more than 6000 nodes. -Setup firewalls for the network using IPtables and PF. -Setup Postfix mail server, and Windows 2000 servers using SQL 2000 and Metastorm Eworks.-Assisted with multiple UNIX gateway devices using Open BSD. These devices were used to provide connectivity between Ethernet and Wireless networks. -Assisted managing the wireless network, devices included Lucent Orinoco and Cisco Aironet. -Set up and managed multiple NAT servers using OpenBSD. -Set up Minerva Middleware server for IPTV and 280 channels MPEG2 video system. -Designed and implemented set top box deployment using ADB and Amino STBs.-Managed several employees including the Network Operations Center, and Network Engineers-Built the iProvo NOC and tools associated with monitoring the network.
