Tanner also operates Tanner Medical Group, one of metro Atlanta’s largest multi-specialty physician groups, consisting of 30 physician practices with specialties in cardiology and interventional cardiology, family medicine, general surgery and breast surgical oncology, infectious diseases, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, plastic and reconstructive surgery, psychiatry, radiation oncology and vascular surgery. Tanner employs more than 4,500 people and offers a medical staff of more than 300 physicians representing 34 unique medical specialties practicing throughout west Georgia and east Alabama.
