Science Futures

Led by Dundee & Angus College, the Science Futures project is a new £1.9M collaboration funded by the Scottish Government through the Tay Cities Region Deal (TCRD) Skills and Employability Development Programme. The project brings together the three regional colleges – Dundee and & Angus College, Perth College UHI and Fife College and key industry partners including the James Hutton Institute, the University of Dundee, and Dundee Science Centre. Together, we will create new training programs and improve existing courses at different SCQF levels providing learners with clear career pathways to meet the skill demands of Tayside’s growing biotech, biomedical, and agritech sectors. If you're a business in the local science sector, we'd love to work with you! We are working closely with the local industry to understand the skills they require and identify work placement and career progression opportunities for our students. We can also support your business's training and development needs by upskilling or retraining your team through one of our courses or we can provide bespoke training.
