The Pittsburgh Business Exchange (PBEX)

The Pittsburgh Business Exchange, or PBEX, is a unique professional membership organization that promotes networking and business relationship development among its members. The association represents a network of diverse, energetic, and distinguished professionals in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. With high concentrations of leadership, professions range from corporate executives, owners, and directors; to doctors, manufacturers, builders, and entrepreneurs. It’s a fantastic mix and many events are themed. PBEX offers its members tremendous value by securing upscale locations and venues for over 50 social events and mixers every year. These socials, celebrations, networking events, mixers, and ribbon cuttings are always well-attended. Joining PBEX allows members to meet leaders in the community, build new relationships, and connect in a less structured/less typical environment. Today, PBEX has grown to more than 35,000 members and subscribers in 13 counties. It provides a variety of events, but is best known for the 3rd Wednesday evening gatherings that have become highly anticipated. These 12 main monthly events consistently boast 250-1,000 guests and have done so for almost 10 years. Smaller events include the Pittsburgh Executive Speaker Series, Lunch N’ Learn Series, and interest groups. PBEX partners with a local humanistic non-for-profit each month to raise awareness for valuable causes in the community.
