Maren Bruin is an illustrator and graphic designer living in a greyblue Swedish wooden house in Oosterwold. (Flevoland, The Netherlands). She attended the School of Visual Arts in Utrecht. Approach Painting digitally using Photoshop and Procreate, Maren works with graphic forms and negative space for a bold composition, often inviting the viewer to take part in a daydream. She likes an energetic, complementaire palette to set the tone. Style Maren works in an abstract style which makes her work perfect for editorial, publishing and advertising projects. Her flat, elongated characters have a strong graphic presence whether they’re leaping into the sky or standing somewhere gazing.
