AMFAM Overview

The Association of Mine Financial & Administrative Managers consists of members drawn from Gold, Platinum and other metalliferous mining operations. AMFAM was established in 1920 as the Association of Mine Secretaries. The main objectives of the Association have always been to originate and promote the general advancement of all matters appertaining to the financial and administrative discipline within the mining industry. The Association’s objectives are achieved in many diverse ways, such as the organisation of conferences, seminars, etc., at which information is disseminated throughout the industry by means of relevant presentations.
