A collective catalyst for individuals seeking to take action towards a specific goal or wanting to make a general commitment to self-improvement in their health, fitness and wellness. Action Pact is a platform for inspiration, education, human connection, new experience, personal challenge, competition, celebration camaraderie and raising money for important local causes. Using the power of social connection, competition and a strong community to support, educate and encourage members on their individual journeys. Action Pact will be hosting the City Champs 2020 in Birmingham and partnering with Love Brum. Our goal is to unite the business community of Birmingham. Inspiring colleagues to join forces and challenge themselves in a unique event. We will celebrate the endeavours and achievements of all those who participate; not just the winners. This is a team-based challenge for 4 competitors (two males, two females) designed to test both physical and mental endurance. It is open to all abilities. There will be no technical Olympic weightlifting involved in this competition, so it is open to all (think burpees, air squats, bear crawls and sprints). Teams will be scored on a number of measures including; max calories expended within a prescribed time limit, ‘As Many Reps As Possible’ of a particular exercise within a time limit and ‘As Fast As Possible’ for a prescribed workout. By signing up participants will gain access to our exclusive seminars and training events being hosted in the run up to the City Champs 2020 via the Action Pact community. We will also be offering training programs, nutrition plans and support to each challenger to help reach their personal goals in 2020. Early bird entry is £200 per team which is increasing to £250.
